Like it or hate it, you’ve probably heard of, been to, walked by, or drove by Biminis Tap House here in Vancouver. If you’re from Kitsilano, you most certainly know what I’m talking about.
Things are going to be a little different around West Fourth Avenue from now on as I woke up this morning to discover longer line ups at my local Starbucks, flocks of people trying to get on buses, and helicopters and small aircraft hovering overhead.
Sounds like the beginning of a Grisham movie doesn’t it? Not quite. Biminis has burned down (photo to the right taken during the blaze looking east down West 4th from West 2nd Avenue…thanks Craig).
As the news JUST broke a few hours ago or so, I don’t have all the details and do not know the cause of the fire at this point either. I just wanted to pass that along as I’ve had many good service experiences at Biminins (along with the bad…i.e., line-ups).
Hope it all turns out alright for dhm (Biminis parent company).
