You know what’s nice?
Getting treated really well when you’re travelling.
You know what’s really nice?
Getting treated really well when you’re travelling…again.
I’ve been in Toronto for the past week on business and if you read my post from earlier this year, you’ll already know where I choose to stay and why.
So, I won’t re-invent the wheel here and tell you what I’ve already told you (recall step #3 in my recommendations for blow-the-doors-off public speaking).
When the smoke clears, the germain hotel Toronto has really got the boutique hotel thing down. Their attention to the little things (which is something I’m uber aware of) really is top-notch.
How top is that notch, you ask? I’ll tell you with the use of a fancy bulleted list:
- the morning after I checked in, my inbox had an email newsletter from Christine Germain (president of le groupe germaine, or, in big company speak, the mother ship) that wasn’t your typical marketing fluff…no
- instead, the newsletter focussed on some really cool tips for travellers and other little gems of wisdom to take home with you (i.e., how men should pick the right kind of socks to go with their suits, general rules-of-thumb for pairing wines with meals, and how to navigate your way through buying a diamond…the 5 C’s and all that good stuff)
-
the staff was great, once again, attending to my every need (not that I have too many…I hope my girlfriend agrees with that one!)
-
the roof-top putting green that I wrote about in my previous post was a huge hit with some of my partners from the Toronto office who wanted to see what the germain hotel Toronto was all about

So if you want to be treated like a rock star (without being one, of course) the next time you’re in Toronto and enjoy the little touches of class that radiate out of each and every thing you touch and interact with, then you know the name to consider…germain hotel Toronto.
From now on, our company will be sending each and every client that visits from out-of-town to the germain hotel Toronto because of everything I’ve just told you. Check in…I think you’ll find the same.
T&D Rating: 5 open concept fireplaces (out of 5)
