new year’s eve 2008

I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a very Happy New Year! Whatever you are doing tonight, regardless of your area or country code, I hope you have a great night and 2008 is everything you want it to be (and more)!

To me, New Year’s eve is just like any other night, it just happens to be celebrated all over the world and tends to be overpriced and over-hyped.

Whether you’re doing it up big at a black tie type of gig, or hosting a tacky Christmas sweater/Guitar Hero III tournament with tequila poppers, I think you’ll find great success in partying your way across the goal line by adopting the following mindset:

…if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right.

Hunter S. Thomspon (1937-2005)

You don’t necessarily need to insist your ashes be blown into outer space when you leave this world. I mean, really, that could be taking it a little too far. Instead, find your happy place, think of your power animal, always seek out great service, and be nice to your mom. The rest, comes easy.
