Want to know a good rule for effective presentation? How about:
- tell your audience what you’re going to tell them
- tell them
- tell them what you’ve just told them
Keeping this in mind, here goes:

Oasis has already laid down some of the tracks for this, their seventh album, and plan to mix it after a Christmas break

As usual, see the whites of my eyes caught my eye with this much anticipated headline and I have to thank them for it!
Some of the points I think you need to know about (if you’re a fan):
- all of the band will be contributing (Noel doesn’t do all of the writing anymore…enter Songbird, Keep the Dream Alive, Hung in a Bad Place, Lyla, etc)
- the new album won’t be so ’songy’ (as Noel puts it)…instead, it will focus around the grooves more
- their first track, Lord Don’t Slow Me Down, has already been released to the masses DIGITALLY (much like Radiohead did here for In Rainbows)
So, to all you Oasis fans, or to all you Brit Rock fans, this will be huge.
