Last week, Conde Nast featured a YouTube expose on Vancouver which attempts to verify it’s readers claim that Vancouver is one of the best cities in the world to visit.
I’m pretty happy with the city. But I think you should (try to) watch the video.
While it may be a tad on the over-produced side, in my view, the host and writer, Mark Schatzker, did a good job at taking you through a day-in-the-life of the uber tourist (without a budget), including learning how to make Octopus bacon (’cause you know that’s cool):
Profiled are C Restaurant, Granville Island Market, Salt Tasting Room (one of our favourites when it comes to service), The Shangri-La (too bad he didn’t hit up MARKET), Spokes, and a whole whack of other recognizable sites and sounds.
A worthwhile spot in terms of advertisement, but the service isn’t something you and I would likely run into on a day-to-day basis. But, tell us what you think of it, I’m curious.
