Found out tonight that Justin and the crew from Hapa Izakaya have bought out the place to the East of their current location on Robson (read: former carpet store) and will be, once again, expanding their flagship location. A few years ago they purchased the space to the West and expanded for the first time, prior to the Kitsilano project.
Apparently the ‘new’ space, slated to be live in August, will focus on serving higher end sake and perhaps new dishes! Can’t wait.
Congratulations Justin, on staying true to form and delivering great service and best of all, great Japanese cuisine!
