Almost a year ago, I told you about how to and who to select when it comes to dogwalkers in Vancouver.

There were a lot of messages in that post, including who and what to avoid.  Well, it’s been a year since I selected them, and as you’ve probably already surmised through the title of this post, I’m still with and happy with release the hounds. But, I’m not here to go on and on about why I’m still with release the hounds, if you have a pet and try them out, you’ll get it.  Nikki and Josh are fantastic business owners.

However, like all of us stuck in Vancouver (literally) during this recent snow assualt, getting to each of their clients homes have been very tricky.  I can’t even get to my own house without a hassle!

So…today…Josh from release the hounds dropped by to say hello to Gallagher and make sure he was OK (walking dogs today was a challenge as their truck had been in the shop because of all of the snow and many of their walkers were stranded - ouch!).  He just dropped by…how cool is that?

At the time that I interviewed them about a year ago, I had a feeling that release the hounds would take great care of Gallagher.  This recent episode given all of the weather trouble we’ve been having is an awesome example of  how a pet owner (and pet) should be treated.
