Back in July, we told you about our experience with the staff and the product at The Urban Tea Merchant.

Short story, short – it’s worth your time.  Even if you don’t know anything about tea; they know how to treat you (we like that).

What’s more, is that just behind (well almost just behind) The Italian Kitchen on Alberni (almost at the corner of West Georgia Street and Thurlow) is their new retail location – currently under construction.

For you downtown types, you’ll recall this used to be, and I could be getting the name wrong, an office for the Canadian Armed Forces.  No idea why it was that…but I know it’ll be a great spot for The Urban Tea Merchant.
