I love leverage. I also own a condo. Want to know how these two puzzle pieces fit together? Alright…
If you’ve ever bought property (or are thinking about it), you’ll appreciate that:
- it’s probably the biggest purchase you’ll ever make;
- it’s extremely paperwork intensive;
- it’s underlying value is subject to market conditions (things you can’t control);
- it’s something that involves a lot of interested parties (i.e., bankers, notaries/lawyers, agents, spouses, pets, movers, colonel sanders…the list goes on); and
- it’s probably the biggest purchase you’ll ever make.
As a living, breathing example of someone who’s been through this process, I’m here to tell you…it doesn’t have to hurt!
The solution: use a mortgage broker. Better yet, use Ray Quan at VERICO Ellis Mortgages Canada.

Why the heck would you want to do that? Am I taking all the fun away from you? Does this guy always answer a question with another question?
Ray will give you (as he gave me) one very important little thing…LEVERAGE! And you want to know what else? REALLY REALLY good customer service. I’m talking about sticking with you until your deal is done and making sure all the i’s are dotted and all the t’s are crossed. I like that. After all, that’s why you’re reading/I’m writing this!
Here’s some stuff I think you need to know:
- Ray’s been with VERICO Ellis Mortgages Canada (a very successful firm in its own right) for over four years and has 13 years of brokerage experience.
- Ray also has his Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation.
- Ray is a member of the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP).
- Ray is a member of the Mortgage Brokers Association (MBA) of British Columbia.
- Ray is a nice guy.
Regardless of where you are in the process, I think a mortgage broker makes a lot of sense (it worked really well for me by allowing me to manage my time most efficiently).
So…at long last, here’s how to get in touch with Ray: rayq@emcmortgages.ca.
Step 1 of the long and winding home buying process is now complete.

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article timinganddelivery.com, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
